Electrical
Commercial Power - First Energy to Higbee Building Switch Gear at 11.400 Volts. These feeds are transformed down to 480 VAC at a 4000 Amp substation with 1600 Amp Main Breaker. This service is backed up with a 1200 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) connected to a standby generator.
Generator - Caterpillar 800 kW (1,000 kVA) with 100-gallon day tank.
Fuel Storage - The generator fuel is provided from the base building fuel system of 5,000 gallons. Approximate run time is 72 hours.
UPS System - 225 kVA Liebert UPS, 10 minutes of minimum battery back up at full load, maintenance by-pass switch.
48 VDC Power - Provided upon request with requirements.
Surge Suppression - Liebert TVSS S1025277YANCN.
Telco Grounding - A facility main ground bar (MGB) is centrally provided and connected to the base building Telco ground system installed to meet Bellcore Telecom Standards
AC Grounding - All AC equipment grounded to separate grounding system.
Electrical Design Specification - 80 watts/SF.
Mechanical
CRAC Units - Glycol cooled with roof mounted dry coolers.Air Distribution is provided by branch ducts connected to a common plenum trunk.
Air Conditioning Design Specifications - 120 sensible btu/SF, N+1.
Fire Protection - NFPA Double Interlock Pre-action System.
Security
Base Building Security provides security guards, front security desk, cameras, video recording, 24/7 monitoring, card access, roving patrols and Fire Alarm monitoring.
ColloSource provides an additional independent security layer with local card key access, remote monitoring and video recording.
